| LOSTbean Sep 6th, 2006 - 6:07 AM | i got mine-can't wait to read it! i might even sneal a peak during work if we have some down time! |
| Lady-in-Gray Sep 6th, 2006 - 6:43 AM | I read the first 10 pages last night. My eyes didn't glaze over once (that's a good sign). I did have to look up one word in my dictionary though.Remember, GB, I'm the one who doesn't go to the movies or read many books because I just can't sit still for very long, so don't feel discouraged if it takes me awhile to finish. It's all good so far . |
| LOSTbean Sep 6th, 2006 - 7:02 AM | i am with LIG-i am good to make it through a recap in one setting! the reading material may be totally interestting to me, but i don't like to sit still for very long either. i have a book i am reading that i have to keep renewing at the library because a chapter or 2 a week is all i can handle! |
| Greybishop Sep 6th, 2006 - 7:03 AM | L-i-G - Glad you made a start on it! I do aim for the non-glazing-over-of-the-eyes type story, so I'm glad to hear that it's hitting the mark so far. |
| Greybishop Sep 6th, 2006 - 7:23 AM | Y'all are makin' me feel lazy! I read at least a book a week! And still have time to plant my butt and watch 2 or 3 hours of tv a night! Of course, I also make time to sit in front of the computer a few hours a day. Occasionally, I can be found doing all three at once... |
| LOSTbean Sep 6th, 2006 - 7:54 AM | wow, GB! i don't know how you accomplish that all in one day and maintain a f/t job! maybe metric days are longer than 24 hours???? |
| Greybishop Sep 6th, 2006 - 8:03 AM | In all seriousness, I watch tv while surfing the net and it isn't unusual for me to read while watching tv. Rarely, (due to the lack of an extra hand) I can be found surfing, reading and watching tv simultaneously... |
| Greybishop Sep 6th, 2006 - 10:20 AM | That wasn't meant how it sounded. |
| LOSTbean Sep 6th, 2006 - 10:44 AM | LOL! glad you wrote that last reply GB...my mind went somewhere it probably shouldn't have based on your previous post! |
| Lady-in-Gray Sep 6th, 2006 - 4:01 PM | I read chapter 1 this afternoon. Your use of imagery is very good! Still, no glazed eyes yet! |
| Greybishop Sep 6th, 2006 - 5:19 PM | L-i-G - I'm glad you like! I also wish I could remember any images I used in ANY of the chapters... Looking back it's all kind of a blur... I do remember doing a lot of ... |
