Rotten Weekends and too many messages... Rotten weekends and too many messages... So, I'm at my gig on Saturday night, waiting for the "party" that booked me in for Karaoke to arrive.I get there at 9PM.At 11 the bartender/manager says "They said if they didn't show by now, they wouldn't be in, so go home."Woo-hoo! Home early, full pay!So, I pack up, get a half a block out of the building when the bartender catches up to me to tell me that the "party" was actually there but never said anything. ARG! Not only do I have to work until 2AM, but now I have to set up the gear AGAIN. Fine. It's my job and I do it. So, Sunday morning, make coffee, throw a load of laundry in, turn on the 'puter and the tv and put up my feet. Laundry's done. Hmmm. Still pretty wet. Further down, wetter still. Turns out my 3 year old front load machine decided that it no longer wants to drain.I work 6 days a week and in that one load I have ALL my work clothes. And I am NOT washing/rinsing by hand. I'll leave that to the Amish.However, try getting a repair guy on a Sunday afternoon. It threw me off so badly that I never got around to "cleaning up" this message board. I made a little room and I'll do more "clean up" tonight...

Re: Rotten Weekends and too many messages... ....... so did you wear wet clothes to work, go out and buy new ones or take today off waiting for a repairman? Sorry to hear that you had a rough weekend. I noticed that we didn't hear much from you.
